FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. Does Copacabana have a dress code?
A. Smart Casual is appropriate…. denim and collarless shirts are allowed; however we do ask that you dress tidy and respectably. Men should not wear shorts other than dress shorts (where the shorts should be below knee length. Thongs, beanies, singlet tops and runners/sneakers may be refused entry
Q. When making a dinner booking is a deposit necessary?
A. Yes we do require a deposit with all bookings however the amount may be subject to the time of year and number of guests.
Q. Do we need to pay for a guest if they do not show up?
A. Once we have confirmed FINAL NUMBERS for your booking you will be required to pay in part or full for any guests confirmed that does not come. The time for confirmation of final numbers will be clearly explained at the time of your booking; as this will vary dependant on the time of year. The forfeit fee will also be dependant on the time of year or event and will be set out on your deposit receipt.
Q.Does Copacabana allow Children or underage?
A. Yes, Copacabana is a family venue and all aged children are welcome; however parents of small children please be aware we do have live music and are a busy bustling restaurant! All children or guests under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian. (Guardians must be at least 25 years or older.)
*IMPORTANT Please advise when booking for dinner if your require pram space.
Q. Where do we park?
A. Unfortunately Copacabana does not have it’s own parking however there is alot of street parking in the immediate area…try the side streets close by! Be careful of Smith Street which has metered parking until late and some side streets may be residential parking only.
Q. Does Copacabana cater for vegetarians?
A. Yes we do; our buffet offers an extensive choice of salads and hot dishes such as mixed vegetables, rice etc. If you let us know that you have a vegetarian at the time of booking we can also arrange a plated dish from our kitchen…this will be dependant of the foods the kitchen has available on that night.
Q. Can Copacabana cater for disabled guests ie. Wheelchairs?
A. We frequently and happily cater for diabled guests. Although we do we have some steps throughout the restaurant and no designated disabled toilets our staff will always be happy to assist where needed and special arrangements can be made for toilet privacy etc.
